The Unexpected
In this project, I wanted to tell a suspenseful and mysterious story about zombies. By collecting footage from old black and white B-movies that include techniques such as close-ups and selective lighting as well as applying different transitions such as cross dissolves and dipping to black and even adding a colored title, I was able to create a classically themed zombie movie with a modern twist.

Tornado PSA
For this project I wanted to inform others about the dangerous and disastrous effects of tornados. I began by creating a six-box storyboard in which I would outline the six shots to be used. Collecting and compiling the footage was next, where I edited the shots to transition smoothly and take up one minute. By adding titles with dynamic manual motion tracking, the public service announcement would catch the viewer's eye and further emphasize the message. The completed project was exported as an MP4 and uploaded to Youtube and then to this online portfolio. I feel satisfied with the finished product and believe that this will help spread the word on tornado hazards.

Civic Documentary
The goal of this project was to let people know about the issue of child labor in the world and how harmful it can be. By compiling powerful images and footage of children at work, I was able to communicate visually the severity of the problem. Smooth transitions and some moving music in the background made the message more memorable. This documentary calls people to action and requests that we help these children.
